What is in your Wardrobe?
Jeans, T-shirt, formals, casuals, business formals, trousers, suit and lot more stuffs are there to wear, what is there in your wardrobe? (Note: This article is strictly for males, sorry ladies.) There is a good proverb in Tamil which says “ஆள் பாதி ஆடை பாதி” which means person half and clothing is other half. I have felt that too, whenever I wear a loose shirt something sticks to my mind and somehow feel very low. In contrast if I wear tight cloth I feel very comfortable.
Your clothing style defines your mood. And it is very important that you choose right cloth for the place. I recently learned that dress is different from clothes. You wear cloth daily but you dress up for a special day or occasion. I have certain parameters to buy a jean. Let me explain that.
- Choose contrast color against your skin tone
- Look for the waist that fits you without a belt
- When you try a new jean in a trail room, try to sit and see that will tell you if that jean fit your thighs
- Check the fly mechanism is working correctly
- Check the button style and rigidness
- Choosing a right finish, if you are planning to wear it for outing and meet people go with comfort fit, if you want to use it for casual use then buy bootcut
- If fashion drives you then you should try pencil fit
- Never alter the height of your jeans, it is better to fold. There is a reason for the if you wear jeans and put on your shoes you jeans will fold a bit that will look fashionable. If you wear any flip-flops then you adjust the fold that will look good
There are many types of denims in jeans. Always buy dry denim which will have a normal look and when it gives a good look when dry denim gets dirty. If you buy selvage denim then you can fold the bottom that will give a good look. The selvage denim will have another color in its other side. If you plan to buy pencil fit then go for elastic denim which is made of elastic material and that will fit your skin.
All the above considerations, go for some good brands, so that the money that you spent on jeans should be worth full.
