Why we always do not adhere to traffic signals!

When the red light count is 15 sec then everyone starts honking. In some traffic signals in Chennai people never even consider that there is a signal. People leave their home happily and start their travel to the destination, but when they reach the destination there won’t be happiness, due to irregularity in road.
Everyone is in urgent, that 15 seconds can take away their life. People are really obsessed with waiting in the signals. I always board bus to go to other places, but even bus drivers will violate the rules. Rules are meant to follow not to break. I think people are slowly developing color blindness. Red is for STOP. STOP means STOP. Green means GO and amber is to get ready.
Pedestrians’ are even worse if there is no vehicle in the road irrespective of the signal they cross the road. The traffic control personnel who regulates the traffic and collects fine from people who violates the rules. But when there are no traffic personnel then people take a free ride. People think that they have fooled the law but indirectly they are fooling themselves and letting the morale down.

How could we eradicate this habit?

There are no possibilities to eradicate but we can make it diminish, because this became our part of our culture. The habit is cultivated in our brain and our brain always resists change. People need to get patience and be responsible. They can follow the rules correctly and teach younger generation. This should be taught in School.

Let us teach our upcoming generation and create a perfect and discipline India.
