Days are so close. I do not know what gift to buy. I am very much confused. I wanted to impress her, but I did not conceive any idea. I asked some of my friends, they gave some idea but I somehow felt there is no WOW factor in those ideas. I also felt, whatever I give that should be my idea, not someone else idea. My name is Raj and I am trying to buy a gift for Sharmila.
She has beautiful eyes, I can see those eyes years together. We are working in same office, but different floors. We developed friendship when we traveled together. She is working as designer and I am a programmer. She is very creative and I am procedure oriented. I am feeling like an idiot now as I could not even select a gift for her birthday.
When I first met her she was half groomed and running towards our office cab. I spotted her and asked the driver to stop, and she boarded in. I was sitting at the front and watched her over the rear view mirror. She combed her hair, applied glossy lip balm, drew couple of kajal line over eyebrow and applied compact powder and finally she wore a good perfume. By the time she completed her makeup we reached office entrance. She closed her face with a scarf and wore a sun-glass and her face was barely visible.
How about a teddy which say “Happy Birthday!” oh! No that would be very old idea. How about a box full of chocolates? No, no, no that would be bad idea. What should I gift? I am really confused. Now I am getting into Archie’s collection shop to see if I can get a good gift.
Sharmi, did makeup every day in cab, she has a very sweet voice and her perfume smell did something in me. I really wanted to give her compliment about her beauty. So I devised another idea I said if you apply kajal to your lower eye brow then you will look lot more gorgeous. She smiled and applied kajal to her lower eyes.
Can I get a makeup kit for her? No she might take it wrong. Then what should I do?
She is so much kindhearted. One day there was a blind man trying to cross the street. She helped that man to cross the road. I got so much impressed, we both developed good friendship. One day I said, hey! I found you are prefect women any male would love to have you in their life. She said “Is it so?”. I said, someone is going to be very lucky! She gave a smile, which almost made me crazy. Did I say kind, yes, I got it let me gift the kind to her.
Sarmi, Happy birthday! And I gave a card, there was an address mentioned there with a name Master Deepak. She was very much confused and asked what it is? I said that is your gift. Go find out in this address. We both reached the place. She checked at the gate we are here to meet “Master Deepak” Go to block 3, bed number 158. She reached the bed number 158 and saw Deepak.
She hugged me and said “I am lucky to have you in my life”. My gift I sponsored Master Deepak for his whole life in the name of Sarmila”. Deepak lost one of his leg and his parents in an accident.
We are now married and we have 2 kids, one is Aruna and Deepak.
