Aquascaping – it is more than hobby

I always wanted to do something new. The recent visit to ZOO created an idea in my idea to buy an Aquarium. I have a good history of maintaining a aquarium. I had a good sized Aquarium for more than 4 years. But due to lack of maintenance knowledge I lost the lovely pet.

Now it is time to do it right! I wanted to welcome my kid to my family with this new aquarium. I am preparing my mind and budget for this aquarium.

Wondering what it is. It is liking farming. You get a chance to be a creator. You can re-create almost anything how nature looks. Here is what WIKI explains about aquascaping.

Process seems little bit complex. But passionate people will not complain. I see that as underwater cultivation. So the base is set with substrate and amino soil. Later slowly hard scaping like rocks and roots are structured.

Later plants are planned and it is allowed to grows for 3-4 weeks. To support the growth, proper lighting are arranged. Co2 cylinder is set and good filter is kept to keep the water recycle.

Good thing is you do not have to change water often, you can do partial water change. All the other equipments will take care of it.

There are some constrains when to comes to passion. You pay a good amount of money to achieve this. But people will not value that! Why he has to spend so much for this silly stuff.

Nothing is silly when you are passionate about. You spent lot of time before internet to learn how this is done and you collect all the information. That is a big investment of time in your life. If you are not so serious, you would not spending that time. So go ahead and do it!
